Christmas Eve Night

After Church on Christmas Eve we spent the evening with Keith's family at his Aunt Helen's and Uncle Patrick's. Everyone was there and we had such a good time. We stayed till Codi got cranky. She was a trooper though, she was so tired but would not close them eyes, she wanted to be that social bug.

Christmas Card

Yes alittle late but I still wanted to post them. This was our Christmas card this year. My so talented sister took these great pictures of Codi and she got some good ones of all of us. Here they are.

Christmas at Popo & GiGi Klatt

On Christmas Eve we went to Popo and Gigi Klatt's house to spend time with the family. Just Keith and Dwayne and family and grandparents. We ate lunch and opened presents. It was lots of fun. Kendal and Kennedy kept us entertained with the kareoke machine they got and drawing pretty pictures on the chalk boards we gave them. Codi got lots of cool things too. A Piggy Band, some outfits, jammies, money, big teddy bear, and a light up, musical, stand up activity set.

Christmas with the Kaiser Family

On Dec 20th we had my mom's family Christmas that afternoon. We had lots of fun like always. Grace and Avery kepted everyone very entertained. Here are some pictures.


Grace and Avery seeing Codi for the 1st time in, what, 3 weeks. They get so excited, they wonder what Codi is saying when she babbles, they ask what she is laughing at. They come up with some great things to say about her clothes and lots of other things.

Our Christmas Present

Then the best present EVER, Grace and Avery got makeup from someone. Everyone left with some kind of makeup on. There was 18 of us and I think everyone left with something on. It was quite funny, some peoples were darker than others, some only had one cheek done, some had goops and goops of lip gloss on, but everyone laughed and let them do whatever they wanted. Uncle Kedo got all sorts of pampering. They love Uncle Kedo.

Codi even got blush on one cheek and blush on one eye, Codi moved as Grace was going in for the cheek.

Ummm! Sweet Potatoes

We are gonna take a break from Christmas pictures for a bit but we have tons more to come. Dec 22 Codi had her 4 month checkup. She weighed in at 14.6 pounds and was 25 inches tall. That was the 75th percentile again. Dr. said she looks great and now we can start trying food. Codi has been getting cereal in her nightime bottle but he wants us to give it to her by spoon now and start other food. The last few days I have been feeding her cereal by spoon but wanted to wait till today with no Christmas events going on. Daddy went hunting for a week so I felt today was a great day to start. We had sweet potatos and she did much better with the food that with cereal. Here are some pics

Christmas with the Klatt's

Sunday the 13th the Klatt cousins and aunts and uncles always get together to make Grandma Klatt's special cookies, eat lunch and the 8 great-grand kids exchange gifts. We have never been, I know my unsocialable husband, but this year Codi is in the gift exchange so Mommy and Codi went. We had lots of fun. Dylan drew Codi's name and she opened her 1st Christmas present of the year. He got her a Glow-worm, and Aunt Penny gave her a Green M & M ornament. You know the cute, really girlie one. Anyways here are some of the days events. Oh I almost forgot, Betty Crocker Amy showed her rolling and cookie cutting skills and GiGi and the other Aunts laughed cause I really dont do much in the kitchen, that is what I have Keith for, but I told them I do know how to do things I just choose not to.

Codi was so alert. It was like she wanted to help so bad she just couldn't get those arms to grab the dough or the sprinkle shakers.
